Ways to identify the quality of the tire:
Observe the pattern color and luster of the tire
From the point of view of the grain, in general, because the processing of inferior retreading tires is very irregular, the groove is relatively shallow. In terms of color, the inferior retreaded tires look bright and shiny, while the regular ones are relatively dark. The color and luster of the refurbished tires are bleak.
Observe the overlap between the tread and the sidewall
First look at the sidewall, whether the various markings are complete, each tire manufacturer has a forum pattern code to indicate whether the pattern code corresponds to the tire pattern. Secondly, whether the joint between the tread and the carcass at the shoulder is smooth, the retreaded tires are self-made treads attached to the old carcass, and the overlap between the tread and the sidewall is not as smooth and smooth as the new tire. There are joint marks on the sides.
Brand tires produced by regular manufacturers have some prominent signs on the tires, indicating the type and performance of the tires. The inside is printed with the date of warranty, and the wear marks in the tread grooves are clearly visible. Generally, the signs of retreaded tires are mostly re-applied. If you scratch these marks with your nails, you must retread the tires.
At the same time, each qualified new tire will have a special wear mark after leaving the factory. Generally, the outer side of the tire will be printed with a small triangle logo. Generally, this mark indicates that the tire loss is serious and cannot be used, and must be scrapped. The inferior tire mark after renovation is the one that the workshop itself puts on, so you can also identify it by hand. In addition, you can also hold the two sides of the tire, the inferior retread tire is soft.
